Research on emotional IRMS will be grounded on the EyesWeb XMI platform. The work will consist of (i) investigating the paradigm of emotional IRMS and developing software modules implementing models and techniques for analysis and processing of expressive content in human-full body and gestures; (ii) developing suitable customizations of EyesWeb XMI according to the requirements of emotional IRMS. The developed techniques will be integrated in a prototypes of emotional IRMS, addressing live music and dance performance and oriented to pedagogical application in music and dance education. EyesWeb XMI will be used as research platform for developments on expressive gesture analysis and processing in MIROR and for implementation of prototypes of emotional IRMS.
